  1. Hire your sister’s cousin’s nephew’s 13 year old whiz kid who’s really good with that “tech” stuff
  2. Don’t write any content until after the design is done. It doesn’t matter what it says, you can fill that in later.
  3. It was due yesterday. Make sure the team knows that every hour.
  4. Your designer should have an innate understanding of what you want, even if you can’t explain it.
  5. Budget? It’s only just moving pixels around, how much can that cost?
  6. Halfway through the project, keep your team sharp by letting them know you’ve been shopping around and you think you might be able to get a better deal.
  7. Your site should connect to Facebook, Twitter, Going, Yelp, AOL, & Pets.com. I hear Social Media is important.
  8. Quality Assurance? You shouldn’t have to pay anything to fix bugs. Computers are simple.
  9. Make sure your designer knows the check is in the mail. Bargain at the last minute in case they think the work was too easy.
  10. Finally, make sure the design is critically analyzed by as many people as possible. Especially your mom.
