How To Design A Website

- Hire your sister’s cousin’s nephew’s 13 year old whiz kid who’s really good with that “tech” stuff
- Don’t write any content until after the design is done. It doesn’t matter what it says, you can fill that in later.
- It was due yesterday. Make sure the team knows that every hour.
- Your designer should have an innate understanding of what you want, even if you can’t explain it.
- Budget? It’s only just moving pixels around, how much can that cost?
- Halfway through the project, keep your team sharp by letting them know you’ve been shopping around and you think you might be able to get a better deal.
- Your site should connect to Facebook, Twitter, Going, Yelp, AOL, & Pets.com. I hear Social Media is important.
- Quality Assurance? You shouldn’t have to pay anything to fix bugs. Computers are simple.
- Make sure your designer knows the check is in the mail. Bargain at the last minute in case they think the work was too easy.
- Finally, make sure the design is critically analyzed by as many people as possible. Especially your mom.
